About Us

Having worked in customer service for over 30 years, it was time for a change. Being given the opportunity to start my own store-front business, and having seen the blooming teas, I thought what better kind of store to open than a teahouse. Given my love of crafting, a combined tearoom/gift shop would be an obvious “fun” venture. Searching out unique artisans and young entrepreneurs was a must, for as much as a business exists for income, it is also important for it to benefit the community.

While working for others I often “brown-bagged” my lunch resulting in working through many lunch hours, answering phones and dealing with clients. Understanding the need to “get away from it all” (even if it was only for an hour) has resulted in the BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) idea.

All Things T is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one!

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Come See What We’re All About

All Things T was established in the historic Chicago Building, downtown Owen Sound, opening its doors on April 1, 2017. This Unique Boutique combines a sit-down tearoom/café (or to go) featuring a large selection of loose-leaf and blooming teas as well as fresh roasted, organic coffees, with a shopping gallery of locally hand-crafted items. We carry everything from organic handmade soaps and all-natural skin care products to fine art and even cookies! We are always keeping an eye out for new artisans and unique items.

BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch)

Need to get away from the office, but don’t want to “eat out”? Bring your bagged lunch down to All Things T! Simply purchase any beverage and you are welcome to enjoy your lunch at one of our tables.  And if you need it, there’s a microwave AND free Wi-Fi.

It is always a pleasure to drop into All Things T for a cuppa, some good company, and a tour around the shop.

There is an array of tea related products and a large selection of tea that ranges from herbal infusions to familiar blacks and greens to more exotic maté and pu’erh blends. Stephanie, the owner, is knowledgable and friendly and always ready to help out if you have any questions.

If tea is not your cup of tea there is coffee too, and don’t forget to have the delicate little cookies with your hot drink. Or, if you are like me (a creature of habit) you might choose a tea blend from the cooler. Have a seat near the window and enjoy the flavours as you take in the charm of the shop.

The whole place is full of neatly displayed local handcrafted items that might intrigue you so long your tea gets cold. Many things are whimsical, colourful, creative, or just plain fun. It is hard to leave the shop with just a tea or tea pot purchase when there are so many other delightful things to buy for yourself or others.

Can you tell I like this place? You bet I do! I guess you could say I’m a regular.
